We are fully licensed, hold more than the requisite professional indemnity insurance and are a member of Strata Community Australia (SCA), the peak body of the strata industry and members of several other property related professional bodies.
We manage more than hundred owners corporation developments and more than thousand lots ranging from residential owners corporation apartments, townhouses, high rise blocks, units, factories and industrial warehouse.

Experienced Body Corporate Managers
Our Principal Manager has over 28 years of diverse Owners Corporation Management experience and most of the staff have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of Owners Corporation Management experience.

Tertiary Qualified Personnel
All our staff are tertiary qualified, hold at a minimum a bachelors degree and other post nominal and professional accreditation.

Qualified Accounting Team Support
Our CFO is a FCPA with CPA Australia and all accounting staff at minimum hold a Bachelors degree in accounting and are associate members of CPA or member or associate of the Charted Institute of Management Accountants.

Qualified Strata Management
Our strata managers are tertiary qualified and some are Certified Practising Strata Managers or hold a Diploma in Strata Management.

Transparent Fee Structure
No schedule 2.2 charges in most instances and all in fee for our services.

Managing Director
Ronald has more than 28 years of working experience in the field of Owners Corporation and is well versed in the Owners Corporation legislation. Ronald’s experience, knowledge and passion will ensure your property is in safe hands.
As the 2015 REIV Owners Corporation Manager of the Year, Ronald’s experience has been recognised by his peers.
He has worked for multi-national companies such as Colliers International, Jones Lang La Salle and Kodak in Singapore, as well as some of the largest owners corporation companies in Melbourne.
The experience he has gained from the in-depth involvement and management of a wide and diverse portfolio of large commercial, industrial, residential and service apartment developments in Singapore, Melbourne and New South Wales will be a valuable contribution to the management of your owners corporation.
Ronald is hard working and service orientated and works closely with committees. He is a certified practising strata manager, is a trained community mediator and has accumulated vast experience in people management and conflict resolution.

Melinda Cohen
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Melinda has over 30 years’ experience in asset management. This includes a strong background in facility management, compliance management, ethical business practices, trust account supervision as well as specialist knowledge in mixed use owners’ corporations and complex strata, community and building management committee schemes.
She is passionate about the strata industry and is a member of owner’s corporations in NSW, South Australia, Queensland and Victoria.
Melinda provides commercial associations with exceptional customer service and the highest level of professionalism and transparency in her operations. Her exposure to the building industry allowed her to develop expertise in project management, an understanding of all aspects of buildings as well as gained a wide range of expertise in building defects and strata improvements.
Melinda holds qualifications in property, project management, building design & construction and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Earl Perera
Executive Director, Operations
Earl is our Executive Director of Operations. He has been surrounded by owners corporation his entire life and is a valuable asset to the company and the strata communities that he looks after. He has worked for the largest corporates in Australia including Macquarie Bank, the National Australia Bank as well as a major Silicon Valley company. He is tertiary qualified with a bachelor of business (majoring in accounting) and is an associate member of CPA Australia.
Richard Lay
Executive Director Business Development
Richard Lay is our Executive Director, Business Development.He has spent close to a decade working at National Australia Bank in key relationship management roles, responsible for managing large relationship accounts prior to joining Advance Strata Consulting Group.
Richard is responsible for overseeing the Business Development and new project activity at Advance Strata Consulting Group. He is a hands on director and has experience managing a diverse owners corporation portfolio ranging from blocks of units, apartment blocks, townhouses and factories.
Outside work, he is a keen property investor and has a keen interest in property developments and has an in depth understanding of the property developing process which greatly compliments our Property Developer clients in offering advice during the development and design stage to help minimize maintenance and running operation costs and to also help prevent oversights in design.
Ricky Cohen
Marketing and Sales Manager
While Ricky is the youngest member of our team, his energetic passion for sales and marketing has been a great addition to Advance Strata Consulting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing and a certificate in Digital Marketing and many other academic achievements. Notably Ricky has worked in Marketing and Sales in the property industry where he won Best Marketing Campaign over $40,000 at the REIV Awards and previously worked in marketing for UberEATS. He has a keen interest in digital marketing, technology and innovation.
